DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first 2026 Ohio Chapter of the Society of Pediatric Nurses (OSPN) VIRTUAL Pediatric Nurses Night Out on Wednesday\, May 20 at 6 pm (details below). Everyone is welcome and must register: OSPN members free\, non-members $5\, and undergraduate students will continue to be free in 2026. You can register here. \nWe will begin with a short OSPN meeting\, participate during the presentation\, “The Move: A Multi-Disciplinary Approach to Simulation of New Hospital Spaces and Patient Movement” from Akron Children’s presenters Laura Fairfax\, BSN\, RN\, CCRN and Christiane Jenkins\, MSN\, RN\, CCRN\, and conclude with a networking opportunity.  The OSPN board hopes you will join us! \n\n\n\nDate:                  \nMay 20\, 2026\n\n\nTime:\n6:00 – 7:30 pm\n\n\nLocation:\nThis presentation will be virtual – a Microsoft Teams link will be sent out to registrants.\n\n\nProgram:\nThe Move: A Multi-Disciplinary Approach to Simulation of New Hospital Spaces and Patient Movement\n\n\nPresenters:\nLaura Fairfax\, BSN\, RN\, CCRN and Christiane Jenkins\, MSN\, RN\, CCRN\, Akron Children’s\n\n\nContact Hours:\n1.0\n\n\n\nThe presentation will be preceded by a short OSPN meeting with a networking opportunity following.  \nNon-member registration fees will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House associated with the host hospital. This PNNO host hospital is Akron Children’s. \nIf you have any questions\, please reach out to ohiospn1@gmail.com or mdorrington@akronchildrens.org.  \nRegistration is open! \nWe are actively recruiting nurses to join our chapter!
